Hilly Flats
From: Pritchard Community Center To: Pritchard Community Center
Cycling Distance: 74.4 miles
Notes: The first 2-3 miles are relatively flat and then it turns into rolling hills. There is a fun descent into Colesburg, but it's only a mile out of Colesburg that you'll experience one of the toughest climbs around here (see notes below). Once at the top of the hill, you'll go down the other side to regain your legs. The course rolls mildly into New Haven where you'll have your first break. The second tough climb is on Cissell Hill Rd, and it's longer than the first one. Once at the top of the hill, there is rough pavement for 2.6 miles, but don't let that stop you going on this ride. From here on to Hodgenville, the route has many rolling hills -- nothing challenging. From Hodgenville to Glendale to Etown, the ride is relatively flat with subtle rolls.
